This piece is inspired by Ancient Indian Rope Design. In order to construct altars for regular or special rituals, rope would be used to create squares, triangles, and circles, frequently requiring one shape to be transformed into a different one. The texture and geometric shapes in this design are a direct homage to this ancient tradition while adding a graceful and modern touch.
